Falsecuts Newsletter #2 - New release of our website., 23rd of August 2006
Dear member,

We are pleased to send you our second newsletter from www.falsecuts.com the largest card trick exchange center on the internet.

And not without a good reason, we are proud to announce that we re-designed the site completely and we have added a lot of functionality. So we invite you too have a look at the [new version page] to see what is new.

Here are some highlights:
Add videos or images to your tricks
New look and feel
When you disagree with the fact we have rejected your trick we are able to re-evaluate it within one month
There are more ways to get level up
and many more things.....

As you may know, we have almost reached trick number 1700, and more then 1400 members have signed up since the past 18 months. So login in and see what other members have submitted. Did you forget your password? No worries and just use the link [Lost your password?] under the login boxes. If that doesn't help you, then you can always send us an e-mail via the contact form.
By now we are the biggest card trick resource on the net and still growing. This has resulted in the fact that I had to transfer the website to a host provider. This means that the site is much faster and the up-time more reliable. Unfortunately this also costs money and therefore we added the possibility to donate to Falsecuts.com to help us out. Of course you can make just a donation, but we also offer the possibility to get a token of appreciation when you donate in the form of a level up for each €5,- Euros you donate. If you want to stick to the official FC.com philosophy you can also choose to help us out by writing an e-book or guide in order to get more levels. Please read more about this in the Submit section which can be found on the right side in the top menu.

Our partner
As you may have noticed we have a banner program on our website; one of the participants is MJM Magic. MJM is my preferred magic supplier and therefore we have started an affiliate program with them. If you click on the banner below and order anything on their site, it will help www.falsecuts.com with paying the bills.

Do you want to become a partner? Please contact us via the website and we will look into the possibilities. It is always possible to add a link to your website in the link section. And you can use our banners found in the "banner exchange" section.
Some notes on submitting tricks
Because we get more and more tricks, it happens more often that we need to reject a trick. To make our life a bit easier, I'm asking you guys to use the search functionality on the site before you submit a new trick. So you can check if the trick is already submitted. And please do pay attention to spelling and grammar errors. I know it can be difficult (English is not my first language), but please try to pay extra attention to this. Again that will save the moderators a lot of time.
We are looking forward to your tricks.

Magical greetings,
Bas Pisa (aka Tabasco)
Owner, creator, and moderator at www.falsecuts.com

you are playing cards with the guys and when someone asks you to shuffle the deck, you get a blank look on your face and ask "You mean a real shuffle?!"
Does this sound like you? Then you have arrived at the right place
